Contact UsSince 2002 Sharon has ran both a successful private counselling practice and built a company that delivers corporate counselling services [The Listening Centre]. Sharon is an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy which demonstrates high standards of competence and ethical practice. As a pragmatic, results driven professional Sharon draws on a wealth of expertise to share and support people on their journey into this exciting and rewarding profession.
Louise hails from an educational background of over 20 years standing. Having worked in a number of organisations within Adult and Higher Education Louise is committed to continual professional development and employer skills training. She has commitment in lifelong learning in all its various forms both in terms of continual professional development and employer skills training.
Sue has worked in Education and Training for over 30 years and has a proven track record as a leader and manager in this field. Since qualifying as a counsellor in 1989, she has been involved in counselling and counselling training in a variety of contexts with exceptional results. Sue is passionate about counselling training and is highly regarded by her peers for her core qualities and wealth of experience.
Lorna is everyone’s first point of contact and has been working with Adept since its inception. Her background is in marketing but having taken a career break to raise a family, now works part time handling all course enquiries and processing applications.
Hope has been a qualified counsellor since 2019. Prior to this Hope worked as a full time deputy headteacher and pastoral care lead in primary/secondary education and as a Qualified Learning Disability Nurse.
Hope works in various settings Inc. Woman’s aid, schools and private practice. She has a fully trained therapy dog who supports her work in schools and with young adults, couples and adults.
